The United History and Genealogy Network is a independent not for profit network dedicated to protecting and preserving free online resources. We are researchers helping researchers in their quest of tracing their roots. All our webmaster are volunteers at all levels state,county,etc. Uhgn is a main entry point for independent linking of various types of data. Uhgn is not a controling national site that will dictate to the states and Counties. We hope you have enjoyed your visit here and hope you will return we will adding new resouces on a regular basis.
The USGenWeb Project State Sites
The USGenWeb Project is dedicated to providing free information on line for genealogical research. It is organized along geographic lines with a site for each state, then below that for each county, and in some cases, separate sites for each city.

These are the individual County sites which we host. With 3,200 counties in the US, there are a LOT of others not hosted by USGW, but we are proud of the great job done by the volunteers here.
